1. Who we are

P2P-Charging Technologies ("P2P-Charging", "we", "us") operates a peer-to-peer electric vehicle charging marketplace serving drivers and hosts across Nigeria and the rest of Africa, starting in Lagos. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email, phone, profile photo.
  • Verification data: government-issued ID for hosts and drivers, processed by our KYC partner.
  • Location data: approximate location while searching, precise location only during an active booking.
  • Payment data: handled by our PCI-compliant payments provider — we never store full card numbers.
  • Usage data: bookings, messages, reviews, device and log information.

3. How we use your data

To match drivers with hosts, process payments and payouts, verify identity, prevent fraud, provide customer support, and improve the platform. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Sharing

We share limited data with the other party of a booking (e.g. first name, vehicle, arrival window), with service providers under contract (payments, mapping, identity), and with authorities when required by Nigerian law.

5. Your rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from your account settings, or by emailing support@p2pcharging.com. We respond within 30 days.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted on a least-privilege basis and monitored. Despite our controls, no online service is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password and enable two-factor authentication.
